duck pond

We visit the ducks on a regular basis
the kids ask about everyday to go see the "quack quacks" as abby calls them
there is a path around the whole pond, we've enjoyed that for sure
this time i brought the camera along

parker walks, climbs on the rocks, and picks up sticks to carry around with him

     (when i stop, they of course want to get out)

This time we brought bread to feed the little ones...

   (shouldn't say 'little' there are so BIG geese too!)

i know... what was i thinking??? letting them sit on the wall that is like 8+ feet from the ground!? of course it was the only place that the ducks were today... they were fine, they just sat there and threw bread in, but after leaving i realized it was a bit high! ha.
Once they starting wanting to walk on the wall... we left! ha

the hard part is getting the twins back in their stroller!

fun times.. Abby yells at the ducks, it's is so funny. Ducky ducky! then says, bye bye ducky!
Adam yells too.. du du du! can't make out words... but sounds like he is yelling at them!
Parker says, bye ducks, have fun swimming today! ha. its sounds so funny, every time we leave

We have definitely enjoyed this pond around our apartments. The pool is right on the pond as well. 

i think I'll be sad when it is time to leave. maybe

did i mention is it 91 degrees (feels like 97) out today AND 53% humidity?? enough said
