FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS and TORNADO WARNINGS!! 

is what we see on the news and TV daily

The weather is CRAZY here! It is too hot and HUMID for my liking, but the crazy part is that it will be hot one minute and than the clouds come over the whole city and it's like a MONSOON!!! no joke! It is crazy! The lightning lights up to whole sky and the thunder is LOUD its pretty cool to hear but scary too. Abby was scared of it in the beginning and would run to me and hold on to me for dear life!
After it is done, a big heat wave comes and it's you are dying again! weird
due to this, we have been out on a walk and BAM we are running back to our place!  wind is blowing us over (literary) and we can't get home fast enough! happened once so far...
then we will be out on our deck, see the clouds move in and the wind start and MONSOON once again!!! the kids sit by the window or the deck and watch the rain and thunderstorms! crazy

i know adam is in his diaper... ha. we were getting pj's on for the night.

this doesn't do justice... but you can see a little of how much it rains..

that is water in the grass streaming down like a river in matter of minutes!

weather = not good for james' job. others might like this weather, but you can't knock on peoples doors when you are soaked from head to toe! me and the kids at least can stay indoors!

Other then the weather... things are going well. not having family around has been different as we were used to going out a lot, Parker playing with friends almost everyday and being able to go visit people when we wanted too!
lets be honest.... before i came here, I could not even stay in the house all day! Really, I couldn't. Even just a drive, a quick trip to wal-mart or i'd get a baby sitter just so i could get our for a bit! no babysitters here, well james has been it for me:) daddy duty while i run to the store! haha
 kids are getting along... for the most part maybe it is because they have to play with each other??? no other choice! ha but they are having a good time.

i love our deck. I ask them if they want to go outside, i open the door and they go out! i don't even have to go with them! even if it is only 15 by 5 foot square backyard, they have fun! they take their toys, or we have even had lunch outside. i think just being able to go in and out when they want is fun for them.

we have been watching lots of movies! but i have to say, it is so cute seeing all 3 kids lined up on the couch watching one together!
so i guess we are doing ok! It was hard for the kids to adjust the time 2 hour time difference... and we had some late nights but they are getting back a a schedule.. somewhat.
Parker is into writing notes to people on facebook or blogs. When he sees me on the computer, he wants to message someone. i let him, and he is always funny about what he wants to say and write.
example: ajslfkjfjfk;djaaaaaaaa then i translate it, it's pretty funny. he did type the whole alphabet to Chelsi, that was pretty good i thought!
 He told me the first day we were here that he LOVED his new house! he went on to say that he still loves the 'green' house but loves this one right now! so funny.

oh and i almost forget to mention how pretty it is here. especially our 15 min drive to our church. Trees everywhere, houses deep behind all the trees, well i shouldn't say house, they are mansions! Castle type houses, they are awesome! i'd love to just drive closer to all of them. mostly gated in though, but they sure look nice!

I was worried about going to a different ward as they all LOVED their classes and teachers back home... but they all did great! I was so happy. I wasn't ready to go back to holding the twins during my classes!
we have a nice ward and they were very welcoming

they do this often now.... this time adam wasn't liking it towards the end... he usually just laughs and thinks parker is so funny. one day parker will get it back! (not to far away i'm sure)

Adam and Abigail share a room now! (okay they 'did' share a room...) They never have because they always woke each other up. We decided to try it. It was cute seeing both their little pack n plays in the same room. For all you that 'say' you would 'love to have twins' it is pretty cute seeing them in the same room and they were excited about the idea as well. We would lay them both down, and seconds later we could hear them jabbering away and laughing. I would leave them in there for a bit and then go tell them to go to sleep.

this is what they would do: 

Abby totally drops down, face into her blanket and acts like she is SLEEPING! no joke she even squints her eyes over and over and totally pretends. She'll peak to see if you are there and drop back down, it is the funniest thing we've ever seen! she'll do it over and over.

Adam just laughs and points to Abby's bed (letting us know that it is her? guess so)

right as we leave we hear them talking again. we go back in and they are both standing up talking to each other! I'll be honest, it was cute hearing them. It made me wish I always had them share a room. but the problem is.. they DON'T SLEEP!!! it worked for a few days and they were pretty funny, but after it took 2 hours one night to fall asleep. i was done with that idea. cute for a few days! ha. they didn't cry they just didn't sleep! than they'd be grumpy the next day! so that ended quickly. WHY can't they play and laugh "outside" their beds! because they can't touch each other in their beds? haha

 Parker and Adam now share a room and Abby has her own. I think she was most of the problem. She talks every night for like 30 minutes and then falls asleep! It's pretty cute to listen too, but guess Adam couldn't sleep with her chatting away! So now they are sleeping much better now!

that was pretty much our first week here......
where did JUNE go??? seriously. Of course i will catch up and try to be 'up-to-date' soon-

( i surely will miss all the festivities in richfield, can't beat their fireworks show!!)
