rewind...

just can't seem to keep up! but can't skip over Halloween...
The FRIDAY before HALLOWEEN we took the kids to the Halloween carnival
put on by the elementary school here in town

the crowd was CRAZY! way too many people and way too long of lines for the games

parker wanted to run around to each game and the twins were not too happy standing in line

there were people everywhere, props to who ever ran it, it was cute, and looked like LOTS of work but 

there were too many people in a small place.
too bad they didn't know the weather was beautiful  that day, it was so nice outside!
but it's definitely hard to plan when it has been crazy lately!

abby loved this! (she's a girly girl but loves to get dirty! )
adam not so much (his hands get dirty and he come to me to wash them off! just like his brother
abby wanted to stay there the WHOLE time

she cried when we left (they kept saying, okay kids 30 seconds and then get your toys and move on... something like that) so i tried taking her away, she wasn't having it. 

cried until i LEFT the building

parker thought the carnival was awesome and didn't want to leave (twins: not so great there)
sometimes i feel bad because they miss out on things, but when you have 2 children wanting the same thing or fighting in public places it makes it NOT so enjoyable and it is just "easier" to leave... so we do!ha

james stayed and played games with parker while i was outside with the twins

so then it was time to head home

fun night but too crazy for us!!! parks had fun, that's all that matters!

when we got home, Dustin and Jen had arrived!

they came for the weekend and we were so excited!

James' brother Dustin and Jen just got ENGAGED the week before and we are SO happy for them! 

congrats cute couple and welcome to the family Jen, so excited for you to join the clan in JANUARY:)
