perfect day

can't say every day is perfect when Dad is away working....
or any day he is gone, for that matter
but today has been a PERFECT DAY. i could add that is is only noon... but why?
the kids slept in until 9am. can't say that is really sleeping in... pretty normal at this house (mostly 8am)
they wanted breakfast, they ate quietly, then told me they were all done NO complaining, nothing!
got them all dressed, no one had a fit (adam does NOT like to get dressed one bit)
i looked outside and it looks like a NICE day so we headed to the park
yep, it was a beautiful day. a little chilly, but not sure if we really needed our jackets
they ran around together, played, took turns and laughed together
i felt like i was in a dream, WAS I?
i only had my phone, wish i had my camera, or "a" camera
but i clicked away, they were being so darn cute!
i love my kids so much, and feel so blessed to be their mom
they are the best thing ever in my life, and i hope they know how much they mean to me.
they miss their daddy while he is away, but i am grateful for him, that he works SO hard for us
so i can stay home with our kids. thanks babe!
but today i felt like it was a PERFECT DAY. i wanted to document it, look back at days like these when others are rough. i love my family and feel so blessed in my life right now

my little MONKEYS
they BOTH love to throw their head back on the swings, so funny!
they took turns... helped each other on the playground...and chased each other around
parker is really into the monkey bars, it's fun to watch him, he loves it!
ADAM wants to do WHATEVER parker is doing, i think it is cute.
he follows him around like a little puppy dog, he's like his little shadow
until adam tries to JUMP off the slide like parker did, not so funny. (i caught him just in time)

Abigail went down the slides a million times!
she's not always our daring one, but today she did over and over!!

 DRINK BREAK
cute twin moment: adam would wait at the top of slide, slap his hand down, say Abby sit Abby sit and wait for her to come join him and then they'd slide down together! over and over ha. loved it every time.
so cute... hope he always loves his sister!

sticks & rocks
they always end up collecting sticks and rocks
i find them in the truck or at the house, in random places
especially abby. she's obsessed with rocks.

this one made me laugh...
she looses her pants on a daily basis, usually they end up around her ankles. my skinny mini!
wish i could capture this kids personality.
he makes me laugh all day! always such silly crazy funny faces he make.
pretty sure he'll have an imagination just like his brother!
can't imagine their "playtime" together when adam gets older.
(they don't get it from me, i don't have that type of an imagination.. must be james. actually i know it is from him!)
gosh didn't realize how many pictures i took... they usually don't cooperate with me, so i usually just keep snapping!
again, perfect day
can't help but add how beautiful the weather has been!
it's November and we haven't had snow yet!
at least it hasn't stuck to the ground for long
please stay a bit longer... PLEASE
i'm not ready to be cooped up in the house all day.
not ready at all.
thank you parker adam and abigail for making this a perfect day:)
i love you

Nothing better than perfect days, or even perfect moments. Kids really do make the little things matter most. You have the cutest kids.

Cami! We were on the same wave length. I took the kiddos to the city park today too! I'm so sad we missed each other. We went around 12:30-1:30. We need to get together again sometime! :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE days like this! I believe they are truly to help us stay sane. Cause without days like this we wouldn't be able to handle the crazy, not so good days!

Way cute pictures of the kiddos too!
