ST. GEORGE FUN

Going to St. George is always fun, this time i realized why i DON'T live there! ha it was SO dang hot! we actually went down 2 weekends in July and i think they were the hottest days of the summer! So now I'm good not to move there! but we always have a good time, so we'll keep with 'visiting' St. George! We love Swimming at my aunts house, going to cafe rio and Jimmy John's (i make a trip there every time, it's not even an option for James, turkey tom would be my favorite!) It's always fun to see family and friends and the trip goes by way to fast and wish we could go visit everyone!

This time we went down for my cousin's BBQ/reception. She was married in south Carolina so she had a BBQ so we could all meet her new husband! it was fun and we had lots of fun with all our family there to celebrate.

We, well I should say, Abigail had a little bump on the way.... we stayed at my sister Jakelle's house and the first night we were there I had her on the counter (first mistake) in her bumbo (second mistake) and i left her for a sec and CRASH yes she fell out onto her head on the CONCRETE kitchen floor! i've NEVER felt so bad in my life! she screamed forever, within minutes a bump and a bruise formed on her forhead, the size of a GOLF BALL and i was ready to take her to the ER. well she calmed down, I held her in my arms, as i felt like the worst mom ever! She was already tired so she fell asleep quickly right on the floor. i was worried about her, so we just watch her for the next couple hours and she seems okay, she wasn't lethargic or anything so we thought she was fine. I can say it looked BAD the first day but the next, it was hard to even see it (thank goodness) but i did snap a picture so i guess I'll post Abby's first

The next day we took parker swimming at my aunts house before the BBQ started. Parker has not been our water boy... he has been fine with just sitting on the steps and would actually cry when we would even hold him and swim around the pool with him. Well this weekend, he FINALLY turned a new leaf and LOVES the water!!! It was so fun and we were so proud of him. First we got him to go down their rock slide, and that finally got him over his fear. I think he doesn't like "deep" water and didn't like his head to go under. but James held him up a few times going down so he didn't go under. Then we tried the flooties (which he's never let us put them on before) and by the end he wouldn't get out of the water! He was going down BY HIMSELF (always making sure James or someone was at the bottom) and he turned into our little FISH! it was so fun, he had a great time, and it was fun for us because we've been trying to get him away from the steps forever!

some reason when I'd film him, he'd go really slow...

i gave up so this is the best one i got!
