the PARTY

IF you didn't know by now, Parker LOVES TRANSFORMERS.
He always has and probably always will. It's a father/son bond. ha
so i thought I'd do a transformers theme
It was fun planning his party this year, as he talked NO-STOP about it. What he wanted to do, who to invite, the food, the games, EVERYTHING. it made it so much more fun! so this was our itinerary:

My mom and dad had to leave just after it started.. they felt soooo bad to leave me with 18 kids!!!!! ha

but they got a call that day from the Manti Temple President and was asked to meet with him.

they received their calling that night... TEMPLE WORKERS.

Wow.. so happy for them! they are the greatest and i love them.

 

this was my creativeness.... yep that is a transformer (if you couldn't tell)

the kids threw water balloons through it, ha. it worked great, but i should have done more balloons. 

it was fun.

I know.. bob the builder?? that is what parker chose at the store when my mom took him.

guess they didn't have a transformer...

WITH the help of my MOTHER who helped me decorate/ ice the cupcakes/ bring the balloons/ pinata and I'm sure more... she is always AMAZING.

AND the help of my wonderful sister-in-law JANEL who brought Parker's cousins!! He was so happy they were coming and even more happy when they got to stay and play after for a few hours!
Thanks Janel, you SAVED me for sure. she is a great organizer and kept our games hopping!

I didn't get pictures of everything.. i know hard to believe but i didn't. i did fun favor bags that had transformers stickers, candy, etc in them that the kids got to take home.
and a few other decorations, oh well

i love love LOVE when adam and abby chase each other around. 

it's always a table/couch or whatever

 we went and picked up McDonalds happy meals, came back to our house and played and played until they had to leave! It was a late night back to orem for them, but THANKS a million, we love you guys!

i LOVE birthdays, i think i have more fun planning them then anything!

James said i stayed busy, so i didn't have to think that my baby was 5 years old...
first time doing a "friends" party. i was worn out after (as i planned it 2 days before)
james really wanted me to wait...
but i think it was a success and we had a great time

he was right though, that is for sure, still can't believe he's 5
