CHRISTMAS DAY

this is what Parker looked like when we woke him up!!
(oh and lets add that is was 9am, ha we ALL slept in
i'm sure it won't happen next year)

Santa pulled through... he brought Parker TRANSFORMERS
OH WAIT, not the right ones... he wanted BUMBLE BEE

don't worry he made sure we knew
me: Parker what did Santa bring you?
parker: transformers! but he brought me the wrong one

note to self: be more descriptive in santa's letter haha

CHELSI found the "JUST CASH" stocking (as she has the last like 4 years)
shouldn't add that my dad 'cheated' and gave her a hint...
tradition!!

just hanging out CHRISTMAS MORNING
WE all framed pictures of the grand KIDS for my parents this year!!
they loved them

now, where to put them up in their house...

the kids were giving all these stuffed animals puppets and my mom sat and sang the stories to them the kids loved it!
This is the story that never ends.... remember this?? ha
Little bunny Foo Foo...
and they also got Raggedy Ann and Andy!!! so cute (they are HARD to find)
they were so cute, what a great idea (they will stay at nana and Papa's house to play with there)

cousins playing together, so fun!
LYLA :: ADAM :: ABIGAIL

THAN.... after we had GERMAN PANCAKES (tradition)
we went over out OUR house to see what Santa had left there...
a TRAIN TABLE for Parker
BLOCKS for adam
STROLLER AND BABY for abby

when Parker saw his train table.. he said, "Wow! i needed this. than said, "i didn't ask for this" haha he has a one track mind, transformers (he loves it and play with it all the time now)

Adam LOVED his blocks and had fun taking them out and putting them back in the container

Abby... well she is just something else! ha so I got this stroller for her because for one it's cute but than i really thought it would help her WALK! well when she saw it she smiled stood up to it, picked up her baby doll and THREW her out of it! She continued to walk around to the front and tired to get in it! yep she wanted to be pushed around! Adam was right there and tried too but she was too big! what a girl. she did walk with it later that day but still tries to get in it herself.
she LOVES her baby doll! It would be her FIRST doll and it was love at first sight!! ha She gives her kisses all day, hugs her and puts her in her stroller and than takes her out again all day. so cute

After we got done with our family/Santa presents We did COUSIN presents! Parker's cousins live in Omaha (besides cousin Lyla) so we exchanged presents and mailed them to each other. Parker was so excited to open Jantsen's present. He ripped it open and what was it????
BUMBLE BEE
Parker: YES!!!! I KNEW I would get bumble bee! Jantsen knew i wanted him! ha
Jantsen is my Best Friend! i am so happy
so THANKS Jantsen, you pulled through for us as he was telling everyone all day that Santa brought him the 'wrong' toy!
I have to add that Janel made the cutest little tu tu for Abigail with a little wand to go with it, and also made 2 superman/batman caps for Parker and Adam! I LOVED them and the boys run around with their caps on all the time! THANKS!

THIS is what James and I got for ourselves for christmas....
we've already had some great tournament... James usually wins but we do have some close games!!
yes it is down in our 'unfinished' basement! it is a little cold and we joke about wearing coats and gloves down there to play ping pong... but hey it is still fun!!

WHAT A DAY!!! it was fun and we were spoiled with MANY presents but we had such a fun time with our family as that is what it is all about!

Looks like tons of fun! 9a.m. may last a few more years...Sadie didn't wake up until 8:30 and that was only because the timer on the oven went off for breakfast. (I got up earlier to put it in the oven) My kids haven't got up too early for Christmas yet...I am sure our time will come. I love that your family all has matching pajamas. BTW Sadie draws better than me too. Not that I draw well but still, she's 5.

We--I mean santa--must be on the same wave length! Train tables and strollers. My girls also spent most of Christmas morning sitting in their strollers. Now James fights them for the strollers--but he tips them over and pretends they're cars of some kind! Kids are so funny! Cute pics!
