haircut

It was time... don't you think?

he was starting to get "wings"

Nana Pouslon has been the only one to cut this boys hair... 

but we just couldn't wait any long (i cut it sometimes... but i hack it pretty good so i thought it need a professionals touch) so we ventured out to "Cookie Cutters" appealing name right?  It is a kids dream place for getting a haircut. 

Cool seats to choose from... a movie of their choice... and the cutting began!

It isn't Parkers favorite thing to get his hair cut... but he did great. Just put in a movie, pokemon (his choice, he's never watching this before... it had heros on the cover, guess he thought it looked cool)

whatever makes him happy, it was over before he told us "all done" which is usually the case

When they were done they got a ballon, sucker AND got to play!
again, dream place for kids' haircuts. a fun outing for just him and mom too:)

I'm thinking of taking Adam and Abby, i know they'd love it.

but Nana (and aunt Chelsi) always do a 'better' job. I'll wait.

Don't worry i told my mom to invest in a TV at her salon:) haha

p.s. I did a little pampering myself today... i got my haircut! ...i can honestly say every time I'm away from home, i never like my haircuts... i really tried to wait... but my hair was so gross and i couldn't stand it any longer. I went to a salon called Ulta (which i've been to before when i nannied in NJ so that was fun) and the gal did a good job. At least i haven't complained about it to james... haha. She cut a lot off! I will definitely still be making a color appointment with my mom... haha.
