Halloween week

MAKING CUPCAKES....

Parker and Jessi :: I think they had more fun "EATING" the cupcake mix than anything!

These were taken the next day when they both went out for MORE Halloween fun!

MAKING COOKIES...
it has always been a tradition to make cookies for HALLOWEEN! My mom has the BEST sugar cookie recipe and an even better ICING recipe, really is it amazing. Only bad part is that it makes you eat WAY TOO MANY COOKIES!

We had a lot of fun making the dough, rolling them out into fun shapes and then DECORATING them!!! We used fun things like black/red licorice, candy corn, M & M's, sprinkles, and anything else fun to put on them. We got creative this year and used these decorating writable icing and wrote things on them, tried to be artistic at least... we took them around to neighbors and friends and then ate the rest! YUM

we made: pumpkins/cats/witches/ghosts/hats/AND MORE. Parker's favorite, HIS HAND PRINT! a little difficult, but fun too

We had so much fun, so fun that i think we had a total of 3 cookie making days!! i didn't take enough pictures and didn't get ones of all those that participated.. but THEY all had a great time. i can say i was ALL cookied out by the end of the week (or at least the cleaning up part!) James was done too, as he got the job of babysitting the twins... they were much help in this event! I know he is great!
