Tamarac Park

 I'm sure there are parks everywhere, 

but they are all surrounded by trees so they are hard to find.

We came across this one is a wooded area one day 

so the kids and I stopped to check it out.

we weren't disappointed! It's really beautiful here with all the trees… 

Texas is growing on us. 

well not the humidity… but that won't ever change ha. 

I love venturing out in a new city.  

 the kids running to the other side to see if the ball gets closer to them

then this happened. 

The boys kept watching their ball around the pond hoping it would get closer to them. It moved into the middle where the fountain was and the was pushed back to the other side. We all ran over to see how close to the side it would get. I realize it was the closest it would get so without thinking much i said ok maybe i can get it! It looked shallow… i was more praying their weren't any other creatures in there (alligators… ah!) The water was gross, slimy and i just tired to hurry. Right as i went to grab the ball the water got deeper, to my waist!!! i about died, rushed back to the side and i couldn't stop laughing! things we do for our children. truth is i just didn't want to go by another soccer ball ha ha.

they boys just better have learned to not let the ball get close to the pond next time,

 I won't be doing that again!! Abigail told me the next day that i was her hero, it was worth it after that:) 

 hard to see them, but there really are turtles in there! 

gosh i love these 3 kids of mine. they make my heart hurt. 

love seeing them together, hope they stay close like this forever.

 Boys was the guys at the skate park for awhile… Adam left talking how he's going to be a skater when he gets bigger!! ha ha I just really like this picture of the trees. beautiful

 one of the turtles was coming right out of the water!! Abigail was in heaven. 

she got close, but it turned right back into the water. so cute

they love playing in the sand… i let them for a few minutes and then we headed back home. 

fun day at the park. Wish it wasn't so humid that we could experience it more but going at night isn't so bad. just runs into dinner and bedtime. oh well.
