a night with the hunt family

{december 29th}

we meet the Hunt Family in SLC

ate dinner at a 70's retro restaurant (can't remember the name of it)

yummy food and you got a lot of it for the price!

always a fun time with David Heather and Bailey

We met the Hunt Family when we bought our town home in Spanish fork 7 years ago. We became friends quickly as Heather is a social butterfly (love you for it:) and was so sweet and welcomed us in the neighborhood and we've been friends ever since!!  Bailey was only like 3 at the time and it's crazy how fast she's growing up. she could babysit our kids now!:)

After dinner we took the TRAX to Temple Square to see the lights. We've been wanting to take the kids so I'm so glad it worked out. Guess you can say we have a little "group" 4 little families including us all lived in the same complex in Spanish and have kept in touch through the years. Since moving back here we've tried to get together a few times (halloween and christmas) It's fun to see everyone and hang out together. Sadly the others couldn't make it this night, we missed them, but decided this will be an annal event so we hope they can join us next year! 

We had a blast, the whole night was so fun and my kids loved every second of it. they thought the "train ride" TRAX was awesome and the lights were beautiful as always. The weather was PERFECT 

It wasn't too cold which made it much more enjoyable especially for the kids. we couldn't have picked a better night to go. We had so much fun i think we made it home by like midnight! well worth it:)

stopped off at Denny's for some HOT CHOCOLATE

our waiter might not have been too happy as we ordered 8 hot chocolates and then chatted for an hour

... but it was fun!
